http://www.ntwildscapes.com http://www.youtube.com/willz75 This massive clear air bolt (cloud-to-ground lightning bolt) hit about 200-250m away from our location. Here in Darwin, Australia these bolts can leap 15-20km away from the main storm striking a dry area surrounding the storm. You don't see me in the frame for good reason as I was in my car! :P :O A photo was captured using a Canon 1DMark IV and lightning trigger made by Stepping Stone Products, LLC - http://www.lightningtrigger.com/ Photo can be seen here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/willz0r/5289990107/ The bolt hits near the base of the tree as a large puff of dust can be seen after the initial strike! Thanks to Jacci for providing some foreground entertainment! :D
When one gazes at our celestial neighborhood, the planets, moons, comets and asteroids we see defy the speculative history we learned in school. These bodies testify to events not included in any geology textbook. The evidence seem undeniable -- high-energy electromagnetic events have indelibly scarred, and in some cases devastated the rocky bodies in our solar system. Today, this seemingly outrageous theory is being put to the test experimentally. One of the most remarkable of these experimentalists is Billy Yelverton, who has successfully replicated countless planetary features through experiments with electrical discharges and electric fields. Today, we provide a brief overview and introduction of Billy’s research. Billy's YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/mr2tuff2 Billy'...

http://pissinontheroses.blogspot.com/2014/04/max-alert-green-burst-at-wipp.html (c)2014 www.POTRBLOG.com Based on our analysis of the US Department of Energy's [DOE] Accident Investigation Report, the first indication of a massive radioactive release from the WIPP facility occurred at 10:50pm on 2/14/2014 when a radioactive cloud of weapons grade Americium and Plutonium became so massively concentrated above WIPP's electrical sub-station that an electrical "GREEN BURST" was triggered via the radioactively ionized air. That electrical substation is located directly next to the underground mine's exhaust shaft. WIPP's electrical substation ended up functioning exactly like a screaming Geiger counter. with each pop and "green burst" telling people to get the hell out of there. The radioac...
As the lightning travels cloud to cloud, the residual energy grounds through the antenna without creating a lightning strike.. Heard as a crackling sound.. I've heard this before- always cool.... The second crackling noise is just me mocking the sound from the discharge.. lol

With the recent Cloud ban in doubles, Smash 4 is bound to see a bigger variety of teams in doubles. With such, techniques that were unknown before or not even thought pop-up every now and then. Introducing, the Electrical Shield! Something niche I came up with together with my teammate Serew. It's utility has some shortcomings every now and then, but can be of use when your teammate is under pressure and more. Another example of the huge cloud that seems to cover the area of sunrise and sunset almost every day. You can actually see an electrical discharge in the cloud at the beginning of the video. Also notice that the sun is actually going to rise just to the left (west) of the large cloud where the white/blue lighe is coming from yet there is a red/orange light source to the right (south) . Strange times!

The EU-funded Marie Curie Initial Training Network "ITaRS - Initial Training for atmospheric Remote Sensing" brings together a group of universities, research organisations and high-tech companies from different disciplines, e.g. meteorology, geosciences, physics, electrical engineering and mathematics. 16 young researchers are trained in the area of remote sensing of the atmosphere, over a period of four years. ITaRS is coordinated by Susanne Crewell, professor of meteorology in Cologne. http://itars.uni-koeln.de/ http://joyce.cloud/

* http://www.superhouse.tv/episodes * http://www.superhouse.tv/17-home-automation-control-with-sonoff-arduino-openhab-and-mqtt/ The Sonoff from Itead Studio is a fantastic little mains-switching module with a built-in ESP8266 and WiFi. If you want an easy way to control mains devices such as lamps and fans, this could be it! Sonoff modules are preloaded with firmware that allows them to be controlled by a phone app, so they're very easy to get started. But that's just the beginning: using a USB-serial converter and the Arduino IDE, you can load your own software on the Sonoff and make it do your bidding. I used the Arduino IDE to load a sketch with MQTT support and OTA (over the air) updates, allowing it to be controlled by OpenHAB. SuperHouse: - www.superhouse.tv - twitter.com/supe...

Earth geology is primarily a study of incremental processes over eons of time. Volcanoes, earthquakes, weathering and erosion are the forces that geologists theorize as having shaped our planet’s land forms and surfaces. But the Electric Universe is opening new theoretical pathways for understanding our Earth, and all planets and moons. In the Electric Universe theory as proposed by the chief principals of The Thunderbolts Project, in a relatively recent period of chaos in the inner solar system, interplanetary electrical discharges shaped the surfaces of the planets, including the Earth. What evidence do see we of these events on our planet? In this Space News, Thunderblog author and colleague Andrew Hall begins the first of a three-part presentation on revolutionary concepts of Electric ...
In the last decades, hybrid and electric vehicle powertrains have emerged in the automotive market. They have proved to be among the most viable alternatives for the reduction of emissions and fossil fuel usage in transportation. Since then, the vehicle electrification scenario has initiated a boost in the development of many cutting-edge solutions, such as switched reluctance (SR) electric motors, which appear as a great technology for automotive electrification as they are free from rare earth metals and a very cost-effective solution. This presentation discusses the evolution of an SR motor control algorithm enabled by using Model-Based Design with MATLAB® and Simulink® for a platform based on Zynq-7000 SoC.

http://www.zvaper.com http://www.fb.me/zvaper @Zvaper I've seen countless vapers use their electrical devices in a non optimal manner. Building low ohm coils on an electrical mod isn't the best way to do things. While it may work, it's not using the full capabilities of the mod and also your battery life suffers. Hopefully this video will clear up a lot of things and will demonstrate the benefits of building a high ohm coil on electrical devices. The Ohm Calculator I used was: http://www.steam-engine.org/ohm.asp
